Document Set 50 MB Routing Limitation to be Addressed by Microsoft

Currently,  “when you use the Send to feature with a Document Set, the sum for all documents in a Document Set cannot be larger than 50MB” (Source: TechNet). This limitation has caused a burden for many organizations as they easily extend beyond 50 MB but still require the routing of Document Sets for scenarios such as sending to Records Centers, alternate sites for review/approval, and custom workflow requirements.
