Mimo and Me: MIMO UM-710S USB Powered Mini Monitor

I was in desperate need of an extra monitor while working on the road with my laptop, but carrying around an extra LCD monitor didn’t quite fit the requirement of “being mobile.” What I needed was just an extra, smaller screen for email/internet/documents… but how could I achieve what I needed without another giant LCD?

Answer: I picked up a MIMO UM-710S USB Powered 7 Inch Swivel LCD Screen Mini Display, and I don’t regret the purchase at all. It is essentially a 7 inch LCD monitor that runs over USB. It doesn’t even require Power via USB. Simply set it up/plug it in (If you are running Windows Server 2008, go to the manufacturers site and get the new or beta drivers), and you are ready to have the extra screen/efficiency you crave! (mmmm, could I daisy chain 127 of these? :-))
